I do it. You do it. We all do it. We push our laziness and hatred to things we don’t want to do to the absolute limit. Procrastination, allows us to convince ourselves that we will want to do something tomorrow, but just not right now, or my favorite…”I work best under pressure”. Psychology Today discusses these fun facts and much more. You can say people who are procrastinators, such as myself, tend to be overly optimistic when it comes to completing tasks. We feel as though, it won’t take as much time as what people put on, and just so you know there are actually different types of procrastination. According to the tipsy writer there are three types, ” 1. Arousal type, who wait until the last minute to complete something for the euphoric rush. 2. Avoiders, who may be avoiding fear of failure or even fear of sucess. And 3. Decisional type, who find it highly difficult to make a decision.” You could probably, actually you could definitely put me in that last category. Deciding even what to eat for dinner has become a daunting day to day task for me. Oh and here’s another fun fact apparently I’m more likely to have an alcohol problem too. So cheers to all you other procrastinators out there who are like me and constantly lie to themselves, have a terrible time making decisions, and apparently don’t know how to put the bottle down.
